Section 11:951.20 - Duties and powers of secretary-treasurerA. The secretary-treasurer shall keep a true and accurate account of the proceedings of the board of trustees, of all monies, notes, bonds, and other securities coming into his hands, and for the interest, income, profits, rentals and proceeds of and from the same, and perform such other duties as the board of trustees shall direct. The secretary-treasurer shall make a full and accurate account of his office whenever required to do so by the board of trustees. The secretary-treasurer, upon expiration of his term of office, shall make a full and accurate account and he shall turn over to his successors all books, records, monies, notes, bonds and other securities belonging to this retirement system.B. The secretary-treasurer shall be the custodian of all funds of this retirement system. All payments from these funds shall be made upon voucher signed by the secretary-treasurer and president or vice-president of the board of trustees.La. Consolidated Public Retirement § 11:951.20
