Section 11:826 - Rules and regulations

Subject to the limitations of this Part the board of trustees shall, from time to time, establish rules and regulations for the administration of the funds created by this Chapter and for the transaction of its business. The board shall prepare and submit to the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget an annual budget for estimated costs of operating the system for each succeeding fiscal year. This budget shall be subject to approval by the Joint Legislative Committee on the Budget. The board of trustees shall adopt rules and regulations which are appropriate or necessary to maintain the qualified status of the plan.
