Section 1408 - Facilities prohibited; emergency certificate for substance abuse treatmentA. Minor patients involuntarily hospitalized by emergency certificate for substance abuse treatment shall not be admitted to the following facilities: (2) Public or private halfway houses.(3) Public or private group homes.(5) Residential facilities for children.B. Judicial commitment or hospitalization by emergency certificate may be made to any facility listed in Article 1406(B), except forensic facilities, provided that such facility has a substance abuse inpatient operation maintained separate and apart from any mental health inpatient operation in such facility.Acts 1991, No. 235, §14, eff.
