Section 1128 - Validity of surrender; Statement of Family HistoryA. A surrender or consent to adoption executed by a nondomiciliary parent in accordance with the laws of the state of his domicile shall be recognized as valid and given the force and effect accorded it by the laws of the foreign state.B. The agency or individual to whom the child was surrendered shall be responsible for securing the parent's execution of a Statement of Family History set forth in Article 1125. All other rights and duties set forth in Chapter 8 of Title XI shall be applicable.Acts 1991, No. 235, §11, eff.
