Section 774 - Physical and mental examination for dispositionA. Following the adjudication, the court may order such physical and mental examination and evaluation of any child of the family and his caretaker as may be helpful in determining a fair and just disposition.B. After giving the caretaker a reasonable opportunity to be heard, the court may order that he shall contribute to the cost of any court-ordered examination or evaluation in an amount commensurate with his ability to pay.
