Section 678 - Disposition hearing; timeA. Prior to entering a judgment of disposition, the court shall conduct a disposition hearing.B. The disposition hearing may be conducted immediately after the adjudication and shall be conducted within thirty days after the adjudication.C. Upon a showing of good cause and notice to the opposing party, the court may grant, deny, or restrict a requested continuance of the proceeding in accordance with the best interests of the child. If a continuance is granted, the court shall issue a written order identifying the mover and reciting the particular facts justifying the continuance.Acts 1991, No. 235, §6, eff.
