§ 33. Salaries and emoluments to members—Postage

Each legislator shall be provided one thousand dollars ($1,000) per fiscal year in post office stamps for the postage of his/her official mail. Each legislator may also use up to two thousand five hundred dollars ($2,500) from any unencumbered funds for annual expenses of telephone and postage, chargeable to the appropriation for operating expenses of his/her office made by the President of the corresponding body. Provided, That the remainder of the two thousand dollar ($2,000) annual appropriation per legislator for transportation and communication expenses in the current budget, shall be transferred to the Curable Catastrophic Illnesses Services Fund, attached to the Department of Health.
