§ 200. Continuity of obligations

The Authority shall not take any action which shall have the effect of impairing the obligation of any contractual duties imposed upon or assumed by the People of Puerto Rico under authority of existing law. From and after the effective date of the transfers provided by § 198 of this title, the Authority shall assume all contracts and obligations of any department or agency of the People of Puerto Rico which may have been entered into or incurred for, or in the name of, or on behalf of, the Utilization of the Water Resources; and all such contracts and obligations shall inure to the benefit and credit of the Authority.
