§ 9017. Authorized professional—Creation

The legal construct of the authorized professional is hereby created, to include professional land surveyors, agronomists, geologists, engineers, and planners and licensed architects who obtain the authorization, and any other professional holding a license in construction-related fields, pursuant to §§ 9017a and 9017b of this title.

Authorized professionals shall evaluate or issue ministerial permits, in compliance with the provisions of this chapter and any other applicable legal provision. The most important parameters that govern ministerial permits are the following:

(a) Zoning or qualification;

(b) uses;

(c) height;

(d) lot size;

(e) density;

(f) occupation area;

(g) gross floor area;

(h) front yard;

(i) right-side yard;

(j) left-side yard;

(k) backyard;

(l) parking spaces, and

(m) loading and unloading area.
