The Puerto Rico Multi-purpose Multi-scale Map, hereinafter the Map, under the Office, shall be the official base map of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the instrumentalities, municipalities, and public corporations thereof.
The Map is a digital tool developed as part of the CPRGIS that is composed of layers of geodetic network, orthoimagery, planimetric, and cadastral information, overlaid in a high-accuracy and updated georeference system.
