The Corporation herein created shall have the condition of excluded for purposes of Act No. 5 of October 14, 1975, as amended, the “Puerto Rico Public Service Personnel Act”.
Any Commonwealth officers or employees who are appointed to fill a position in the Corporation shall retain the status and rights they had at the time of joining the service of the Corporation pursuant to the personnel legislation in effect and shall also retain any rights they held in any retirement system or pension fund prescribed by the law for officers and employees that hold similar positions in the Government of the Commonwealth.
