§ 11201. Rulemaking authority

The Department of the Treasury, the Puerto Rico Trade and Export Company, the Department of Economic Development and Commerce, the Department of Education, the Land Authority, the Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company, and the Economic Development Bank are hereby authorized to promulgate regulations, rules, circular letters, or administrative determinations as are necessary to enforce the provisions and attain the purposes of this chapter within a term not to exceed thirty (30) days after the approval thereof. Any regulation, rule, circular letter, or administrative determination herein authorized shall be consistent with the Statement of Motives and the Public Policy of this chapter. The regulations to be promulgated under this chapter shall not be subject to the provisions of §§ 2101 et seq. of Title 3, as amended, known as the “Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Uniform Administrative Procedures Act”. The absence of any regulations provided for in this chapter shall not prevent the application thereof.
