(a) The Department of Consumer Affairs and the Department of Justice may recover costs and attorney fees in all actions that are filed in our courts and in the federal courts for the protection of consumers.
(b) The costs and attorney’s fees recovered under subsection (a) of this section shall be covered into the Treasury of Puerto Rico, in a Special Fund to be administered by the Secretary of the Treasury of Puerto Rico, but which shall be devoted to defray, in part, the expenses incurred by these agencies in initiating future actions for the protection of the consumers.
