§ 920. Penalties for violations

Any person who violates any of the preceding provisions of this chapter, or the rules or regulations promulgated hereunder, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction by a competent court shall be punished for the first offense by a fine of not less than fifteen dollars ($15), nor more than five hundred dollars ($500) or imprisonment in jail not to exceed ninety (90) days, and for subsequent offenses by a fine which shall not be less than fifty dollars ($50), nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000) or imprisonment in jail for a period not to exceed more than one (1) year or by both penalties, in the discretion of the court.
