§ 733. Administrative provisions

(a) [Omitted.]

(b) The Administrator shall have authority to incur expenses for transportation, including the purchase of vehicles; for rent of buildings and premises; acquisition of reference law books; acquisition of periodicals and magazines, and acquisition of office furniture and supplies, and to pay for wages and services that he may deem necessary for the administration and enforcement of §§ 731—745 of this title. The provisions of Act No. 304, approved May 15, 1938, or of “An Act to regulate the purchase of supplies for the Insular Government”, approved March 13, 1907, shall not apply to these or any other purchases made by the Administrator.

(c) The Administrator may, from time to time, issue such regulations and orders as he may deem necessary to enforce the provisions of §§ 731—745 of this title.

(d) The Secretary of Justice shall render to the Economic Stabilization Administrator, upon the request of the latter, an opinion in writing on any issue of law arising in connection with the discharge of the duties of his office.
