§ 273. Legislative purpose

It is the intention of the Legislature that the activities of the Company to which the subsequent sections refer will benefit the inhabitants of Puerto Rico by discovering and developing the human and economic resources of the Commonwealth to the fullest possible extent as part of the New Economic Development Model for the general benefit of the People of Puerto Rico, which the latter, with regard to its industrial aspect, puts into practice through the Company. The Company may, at its discretion, collect fees for studies and services rendered to private entities and persons interested in such studies and services for the purposes of §§ 271—291a of this title.
