§ 166. Ancient or historic zones and touristic interest zones—Penalty

Any person who violates §§ 161—166 of this title or any regulations related thereto, and promulgated to enforce it, who is found guilty of violating it shall be fined a minimum of five hundred dollars ($500) and a maximum of two thousand dollars ($2,000).

The court shall also specify in the sentence a term, which shall not exceed three (3) years, during which building or use permits may not be issued by the Permit Management Office on properties where §§ 161—166 of this title or any related regulation has been violated. The court shall notify said sentence to the corresponding Registry of Property for its annotation therein.
