The Commission may request and obtain from the pertinent government agencies, as well as from every natural or juridical person, such information or pertinent data in order to verify if the fees and cancelled stamps required for a specific projects or construction work have been paid. Likewise, the Commission may require any representative of a government agency and any natural or juridical person to appear in any case that it deems pertinent, in order to obtain information it deems is necessary to comply with its functions.
In case of noncompliance of the request issued pursuant to the above paragraph, the Commission may request an order from the Court of First Instance to demand compliance with the its orders and requirements by the government agency or the natural or juridical person, as the case may be, under penalty of contempt for noncompliance with such requirement.
