§ 226m. Evaluation

The Chairperson of the Planning Board, the Executive Director of the Municipal Revenues Collection Center, the Administrator of the Permit Management Office, and the Secretary of the Treasury shall submit a report to the Legislature after the tax exemptions provided in this chapter have been in effect for three (3) years.

Said report shall include an analysis of the effects that the designation of zones and the tax incentives established by this chapter have had with regard to the urban development of Santurce, as well as the inventory of housing units created or rehabilitated therein, the number of properties that availed themselves of the provisions of this chapter and any other pertinent information, so that the Legislature may evaluate the effectiveness of the incentives offered in this chapter. The report submitted shall also offer recommendations with respect to the desirability, if any, of additional measures for the development of Santurce. Said report shall include the views of these agencies with regard to the creation of other special planning zones in other deteriorated urban centers.
