(a) The Puerto Rico Planning Board is hereby empowered, whenever it deems convenient, to order, print and sell to the public in general, any survey, statistical data, maps or reports containing information of public interest. The selling price of said publications for the public shall be fixed by the Puerto Rico Planning Board and shall include the cost of the printing plus a reasonable margin to cover the expenses of distribution and sale thereof.
(b) The proceeds of the sale of the publications mentioned in subsection (a) of this section shall be covered into the General Fund of the Commonwealth Treasury of Puerto Rico.
(c) The funds necessary to defray the costs, expenses and reimbursements necessary for the production, distribution and sale of said publications shall be annually consigned in the Joint Resolution of the General Budget.
