§ 42b. Certification of plans—Exemption

Every engineer or architect licensed under the laws of Puerto Rico who prepares or makes any plan or project of construction, reconstruction, alteration or enlargement of any work and which plan or project is filed, shall certify that said plan or project is in conformity with the applicable laws and regulations. Said certification shall be accompanied by the regulatory endorsements required for the work. Applicable regulations shall be understood to be those promulgated and approved by the governmental organizations of the Government of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and published in accordance with law. Works not constituting a risk to life, safety or public property shall be exempted from compliance with this requirement, as may be provided in the regulation authorized by §§ 42a-42i of this title.
