§ 5819. Immunity; civil actions

Neither the Center’s Governing Board nor its individual members shall incur in economic liability for any action taken while performing their duties and powers, provided their actions have not been intentional or illegal, for their own benefit or knowing that they may cause damage.

The provisions of §§ 3077 et seq. of Title 32 related to the maximum amounts in actions for damages and in causes of action based in violations of civil rights, shall be applicable, as appropriate, to claims filed against the Center, its Governing Board, its individual members or in their personal capacity or against officials or employees of the Center.
