§ 4860. Reconsideration, judicial review

Any party adversely affected by a decision issued under the provisions of this chapter may request its reconsideration and judicial review pursuant to §§ 2101 et seq. of Title 3, known as “Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Uniform Administrative Procedures Act”. The Court of First Instance, San Juan Part, shall have jurisdiction to deal with petitions for judicial review.

The court shall give the highest priority on its calendar to consideration of petitions for review in the light of the public interest involved and the need to avoid unnecessary prolongation of a situation where there is an acting mayor in cases where the Commission has decreed the mayor’s removal from office.
