§ 971j. Tax exemption

(a) It is hereby resolved and declared that the purposes for which the trust is created and for which it shall exercise its powers are public purposes for the benefit of the people of Puerto Rico and that the exercise of the powers conferred under this chapter constitute compliance of essential government functions. The trust shall be exclusively exempted from the payment of all taxes, fees, charges or licensed imposed by the Government of Puerto Rico or any of its municipalities.
