§ 1099d. Facilities

For the purposes of the creation and operation of these centers, the municipality is hereby empowered, within its executive duties, to designate and use physical facilities under its ministerial control to establish the corresponding child day care center and to establish the most convenient hours of operation to accommodate the needs of the citizenry; also, to contract and use any facility that may be provided by community or private entities; all of the above, subject to the requirements of §§ 4001 et seq. of this title, known as the “Autonomous Municipalities Act”, including the ratification of the municipal legislature, whenever so provided by law.
