Any representative, employer, or natural or [juridical] person willfully violating any of the provisions of this subchapter, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and subject to a fine of not more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000) or imprisonment for not more than one year, or both penalties, in the discretion of the court. The Court of First Instance of Puerto Rico is hereby vested with exclusive jurisdiction for taking cognizance of all cases of violation of this subchapter.
