The Secretary of the Department of Education, the Secretary of the Department of Health, and the President of the University of Puerto Rico shall create a continuous Interagency Committee in order to adopt the participation procedures and norms of the Program in accordance to the parameters of this chapter. The Secretary of Education shall be the officer who shall direct the works of the Interagency Committee.
The Interagency Committee to be created shall be responsible for defining and including the health professional categories that shall be covered under the provisions of this chapter based upon criteria such as relevance, usefulness and importance of each health professional category or discipline with respect to the public education system, its students and its programs and structures.
