P.R. Laws tit. 24, § 10074
Those health professionals eligible under § 10073 of this title may be entitled to receive the following benefits:
(a) Full exemption in the payment of fees, charges or costs for the renewal of their licenses and continuing education courses offered by the University of Puerto Rico.
(b) Validation of the hours served in favor of public schools, equivalent to twenty-five percent (25%) credit hours required to said professionals as continuing education requirements.
(c) Any other benefit, incentive, or right granted by the Secretary of the Department of Education in coordination with the Department of Health and the University of Puerto Rico, which provides a sufficient incentive for the health professional to participate in the voluntary service program created by this chapter.
