(a) An Implementation Committee, adjoined to the Department of Health, is hereby created for the regulation of work shifts.
(b) The Secretary of Health shall set forth by means of regulation those procedures to be used by the Committee to address in the first instance those claims submitted to the Committee after the promulgation of this chapter. These decisions shall be reviewable by the Circuit Court of Appeals of Puerto Rico, pursuant to the dispositions of §§ 2101 et seq. of Title 3, known as the “Uniform Administrative Procedures Act”.
(c) The Committee shall be comprised by the Secretary or his representative, the Dean of the Schools of Medicine of Puerto Rico or his representative, one (1) representative intern and resident per each school of medicine, and two (2) community physicians, selected in consensus by the members to create imparity.
(d) The Committee shall be responsible for observing the dispositions set forth in this chapter and the regulation approved pursuant to same.
