Provided the human remains are embalmed, the viewing may last up to seventy-two (72) hours after the embalming process.
In the event that it is necessary or convenient to extend the duration of the viewing due to justifiable reasons, it shall be required the pertinent authorization of the Secretary of the Department of Health, or in its default, an order from a competent part of the Court of First Instance of Puerto Rico.
