§ 3813. Embalmers; precautions

In addition to the precautionary measures provided in § 3803 of this title, in the discharge of his duties, every embalmer shall:

(1) Discard all safety and protection equipment used during the aforementioned embalming or preparation process, upon completing his work on any human remains.

(2) Clean the floor, table, equipment, and instruments to be used with a solution of sodium hypochlorite diluted in water, in equal amounts, or with any other similarly effective substance.

(3) Discard any biomedical waste generated during the embalming process, in accordance with the procedures established through regulations adopted by the Environmental Quality Board.
