§ 3704. Regulations

(a) The Secretary of Health is hereby empowered to adopt the necessary regulations to enforce the provisions of this chapter and to determine through regulations which public agencies, corporations and instrumentalities shall require the installation of automated external defibrillators and the location thereof. In the case of the municipalities, the places and events shall require the installation of automated external defibrillators according to their particular needs shall be determined through regulations.

(b) The Secretary of the Department of Health shall prepare and adopt regulations pursuant to the provisions of §§ 2101 et seq. of Title 3, known as the “Uniform Administrative Procedure Act” no later than one hundred and eighty (180) days after the approval of this act, for the enforcement thereof and he/she shall be further empowered to imposed penalties for noncompliance therewith.
