§ 3117. Penalties

Any natural or juridical person who knowingly violates the provisions of this chapter shall incur a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished with a fine to range from five thousand dollars ($5,000) to a maximum of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000), to be determined at the discretion of the court. The prescriptive term applicable to this offense shall be three (3) years.
