The Senate and House Health Committees shall receive and evaluate the annual reports submitted to them by the Council and by the Secretary, and shall take such action as they deem pertinent to insure that the act which created said Council is being duly enforced.
Each Committee shall render at least one report to the Legislature at the beginning of each regular session, including recommendations and proposed legislation, if it deems the latter to be necessary or convenient.
