(a) To ensure the strict compliance with the Central Cancer Registry Act, which requires reporting all information on cancer, as provided in said act.
(b) To ensure that the Registry has the financial and human resources to comply with its responsibilities.
(c) To promote and support any other epidemiological surveillance program that contributes to a better understanding of the cancer situation in Puerto Rico.
(d) To promote the use of Registry’s data, as well as data collected by the Department of Health, for planning Puerto Rico’s health system.
