§ 182b. Admission or enrollment—Without certificate; notice to interested parties

In those cases in which the student or preschool child does not present the certificate of immunization at the beginning of the school term, the registrar, the director of the daycare center, or the director of the social treatment center shall notify the student, preschool child, or his parents or guardian in writing that the certificate of immunization has not been submitted; that without said certificate the student or preschool child will not be admitted to classes; that the student or preschool child may be immunized and receive a certificate of immunization from any doctor or professional authorized to administer vaccines or toxoids; the manner in which arrangements can be made with the authorities of the Department of Health, to be provided with these services. Lack of this notice shall not excuse the student or preschool child from presenting the certificate of immunization.
