(a) Military courts shall have authority to order and carry into effect any necessary processes for the fulfillment of their functions. They may issue writs to show cause, subpoenas and subpoenas duces tecum.
(b) Process and mandates may be issued by summary courts-martial, or law officers, or by the president of any special court-martial lacking a law officer or court of inquiry and may be directed to and may be executed by any marshal of a military or commonwealth court or officer or peace officer, in the same manner as prescribed by the laws of Puerto Rico for such proceedings in the courts of Puerto Rico.
(c) It shall be the duty of every marshal, officer or peace officers to whom a mandate may be directed, to execute it and return it to its place of origin without any kind of payment.
