The Governor of Puerto Rico may facilitate for the use of the force of the State Guard of Puerto Rico the barracks, arms and equipment belonging to the National Guard of Puerto Rico not in use by said force, as well as such public buildings and properties as may be available. The Governor may request from the Secretary of the Army of the United States to facilitate to the State Guard of Puerto Rico all such arms and equipment as may be furnished for such forces by the Department of the Army of the United States.
