§ 341b. Buildings of certain capacity used to hold assemblies, meetings, etc.; options

The owner or operator of all, or part of a building with an area of more than five thousand (5,000) square feet, or a capacity of three hundred (300) persons or more, used to hold assemblies, meetings or other similar activities, constructed before or after the date of effectiveness of this act, must comply with one of the following options in order to guarantee adequate protection against fires and its safe evacuation, pursuant to regulations established by the Permit Management Office to such effects, according to the provisions of § 341d-1 of this title:

(a) Installation of a fire sprinkler and emergency lighting system in those areas used to hold assemblies, meetings or activities, or

(b) installation of an automatic fire detection system with an alarm and emergency lighting in those areas used to hold assemblies, meetings or activities.
