In taking office, the emergency interim successors shall take such oaths as may be necessary to assure the faithful fulfillment of the exercise of the functions of the office they will hold. Any other provision of law to the contrary notwithstanding, no person designated to succeed another pursuant to this chapter shall be required to comply with any other provisions to exercise the duties of an office.
Designations made hereunder shall not be considered as a regular appointment to a given office.
