§ 2809. Classification

The systems plants and/or systems shall be classified, according to installation, equipment and kind of treatment conducted thereon, into at least two (2) basic groups or classes: Treatment Plants and/or Systems for Drinking Water; and Treatment Plants and/or Systems for Used Water. Provided, That any plant and/or system that cannot be classified into the two (2) classes mentioned herein, shall be classified individually according to the judgment of the Environmental Quality Board and/or the Department of Health, as applicable, through regulations to such effect.

Likewise, the classes and groups of treatment plants and/or systems shall be subdivided into different categories, which shall have a fixed grading scale of minimum and maximum score for each, through regulations for those purposes issued by the Department of Health or the Environmental Quality Board, as the case may be.
