The Board of Examiners of Draftsmen of Puerto Rico, in consultation with the College of Draftsmen, may appoint a licensed member for three (3) years as Draftsman Inspector, to discharge the following duties:
(1) To verify that all linear and construction drawings are prepared by member draftsmen authorized by the law.
(2) To visit offices, companies, and public and private agencies to verify faithful compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
(3) To file complaints and claims before the Board of Examiners of Draftsmen, the Department of Justice of Puerto Rico and before any other person or organization in charge of enforcing compliance with the provisions of this chapter.
The person appointed as Draftsman Inspector shall have not less than ten (10) years of uninterrupted experience and shall have the unanimous vote of the Board. It shall be the responsibility of the Board to establish the duties, responsibilities and compensation of the Inspector in its bylaws.
