Excluded from the requirements of this chapter, shall be the practice of massage within osteopathic medicine, physical therapy, naturopathy, or any other branch of medicine in which the practice of massage has been regulated by law, provided this is within the context of the regular medical treatment, and not as part of a therapeutic massage business.
Unless these massages are incidental to the practice of the profession, any person who is prepared in the field of aesthetics, cosmetology or hair cutting who wishes to practice bodily or therapeutic massage professionally, must meet the requirements of this chapter, if they wish to provide massage services or any of its modalities.
