Any person who, within the term in force of this amnesty, so requests it in the way the Board shall specify through regulation and subject to final approval, shall be exempted from the provisions of § 2441 of this title and the requirements provided in subsection (c) of § 2410 of this title, provided that the person complies with the following minimum requirements:
(a) Present an official certification of the courses and/or seminars taken in electronics whose contents is substantially similar to those described in subsection (c) of § 2410 of this title, and
(b) present documentation that evidences that he/she has practiced the electronic equipment repair and maintenance technique for a minimum term of three (3) years. Only to those purposes, the following documents shall be considered as evidence of having practiced the electronic equipment repair and maintenance technique:
(1) Sworn statements given by employers who have hired the person with the purpose of practicing the electronic equipment repair and maintenance technique.
(2) Sworn statements by clients that evidence, seen as a whole, that the person has provided services in the electronic equipment repair and maintenance technique during a specific period. If not, the person may present a sworn statement along with certified income tax returns that shows that the person’s main industry or business was practicing the electronic equipment repair and maintenance technique.
(3) Comply with the payment of amnesty fees, which shall be equivalent to the exam.
