The Executive Director shall have the following functions, among others, within the Board:
(a) To answer directly to the Chair.
(b) To support the works of the Board.
(c) To supervise the areas of Human Resources, Finances, Budget and General Services.
(d) To bear the responsibility, in the first instance, of ensuring the safekeeping of the physicians’ records.
(e) To guarantee confidentiality in the management of physicians’ records.
(f) To bear the responsibility of being the custodian and protecting all official documents pertaining to the Board.
(g) To bear the responsibility of billing and collecting for services rendered by the Board.
(h) To render an annual report to the Board and to the Secretary of Health on tasks performed.
