The College of Dental Surgeons of Puerto Rico shall have the following duties and obligations:
(1) To contribute to the advancement and development of the science and the art of odontology.
(2) To raise and maintain the dignity of the profession and of its members.
(3) To establish relations with similar associations in other countries within certain rules of solidarity and courtesy.
(4) To work for the implantation of adequate national and Commonwealth laws responding to a reasonable and just spirit and connected with the profession of dentistry.
(5) To cooperate with the medical and allied professions in everything of mutual interest and beneficial to general welfare.
(6) To promote fraternal relations among its members.
(7) To uphold sound and strict professional ethics among its associates.
(8) To furnish such reports as the government may request.
