Any person who is not a member of the Surgeons Association and practices the profession of surgery in Puerto Rico or any of the specialties certified by the Medical Examining Board, or who practices the profession while a final and binding order or resolution is in effect whereby his/her professional license is suspended for failure to pay the Association’s fees, shall be subject to be sanctioned with a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100) and not greater than five hundred dollars ($500), to be imposed by the Medical Examining Board.
