§ 73e. Powers to refer complaints

The Association shall have the power to receive and investigate the complaints filed with regard to the conduct of the members in the practice of the profession, and after giving the interested parties the opportunity to be heard, if evidence is found of possible unethical or illegal conduct, the Association shall report the complaint with its observations and recommendations to the Board of Examiners. None of the provisions established in this section shall be construed to limit or alter the power of the Board of Examiners to voluntarily initiate these procedures when they are understood to be appropriate pursuant to the applicable law.
