The College of Chemists of Puerto Rico shall have the following obligations:
(1) To cooperate in the improvement of the profession;
(2) to contribute to the advancement of chemistry in Puerto Rico and of the arts and industries connected therewith;
(3) to issue the reports and render the opinions asked from it by the Government;
(4) to defend the rights and immunities of chemists;
(5) to promote fraternal relations between its members, and
(6) to maintain strict professional ethics among its members.
