It shall be unlawful for any person to practice or offer to practice the profession of chemist in Puerto Rico without being duly licensed to do so. It shall be unlawful for any individual, employer or firm organized as a corporation, business partnership, entity, affiliate, company or in any other form or legal structure in which a business or industry may be organized to employ or offer employment to any person to practice the profession of chemist who is not duly licensed to do so. It shall also be unlawful for any person to use his name or in other way advertise any title or description that may give the impression that he is a chemist without being duly licensed as such with the corresponding certificate or license issued by the Chemists Examining Board of Puerto Rico.
Any person that circulates, sells, buys, hands over or does business with the contents of the questions or the answers which constitute the licensing examination, be it by means of an original, a copy, photostatic copy or any of the materials used in the preparation of the examination, will be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall receive one of the penalties established in the next paragraph.
Any person convicted of violating the provisions of §§ 471—471v of this title shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, will be punished with a fine of at least five hundred dollars ($500) or imprisonment for a period of sixty (60) days, or both penalties, [at] the discretion of the court.
